Blankets and lawn or low-profile chairs are permitted. All bags, jackets, purses and guests are subject to search upon entering the event.
Where should I park?
Public parking is available on Truman Rd across from Manual Career and Technical Center and at the corner of 18th Street and Troost Ave. VIP Parking is available at the Ride KC lot accessible off of 18th & Forest Ave.
Is KC Jazz Fest family friendly?
Yes! Kansas City Jazz and Heritage Festival welcomes guests of all ages. Children ages 12 and under are admitted free.
What if it rains?
Kansas City Jazz and Heritage Festival is a Rain or Shine outdoor event. However, weather conditions and safety determine the performance status in event of inclement weather.
No umbrellas are allowed inside Festival gates.
Do I really need to print my tickets?
Yes! Please print and bring your ticket with you.
Is re-entry allowed?
Yes. A wristband is required and will be provided upon initial entry to the Festival.
What disability and accessibility accommodations are available?
Parking for patrons displaying a handicap placard is available on 18th Street and Vine near the festival grounds.
The main stage festival grounds are comprised of a grassy park. There is a curb cut allowing wheelchair access near the main festival entrance.
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed. Service animals are welcome.
What is the photo/video policy?
Amateur photography and video equipment is permitted for personal use only. Please do not interfere with the experience or block the view of other Festival patrons.
